Malaysia Asian Open Dance Championship 2008, organized by Professional Dancers Malaysia Berhad, an affiliate of Malaysian Dancers' Berhad (full member of World Dance Council), will come to you on 9th March 2008, at The Grand Ballroom, Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur.
This 6th leg Championship, 1st ever to be held in Malaysia (offering USD100 000) is part of the Asian Open Dance Tour 2008 series of championships, with participation of world-top ranking competitors from as far as England, USA, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Korea and Sri Lanka.
The Championship is poised to enter The Malaysia Book of Records for the highest prize money offered for a dancesport competition in the country and most number of professional dancers in a competition.
Invitation to the gala dinner are open, and seats are sold at RM500, RM380 and RM250. Part of the proceeds will go to the Alzheimer's Disease Foundation Malaysia.
